Mathletics, Maths Wizz or Conquor Maths?

Does anyone have any advice on which of these would be best?

My main reason to use it would be for my DD Yr 7. Way way back in KS 1 she was top of the class in Maths and was in a special Maths group for those identified as doing well in Maths.

Something went wrong somewhere along the line and KS 2 she lost confidence academically and socially, was identified as dyslexic (privately - initially got no support from School) and Maths started slipping. We got her a dyslexia tutor to help with reading and writing as that seemed the main problem. We ignored the Maths side.

She scored bottom range of ARE in SATS (still a pass) but scored badly in CATS and is in set 4 out of 4 at secondary where there seems to be a lot of behaviour management rather than teaching. She says she finds Maths lessons easy but still does poorly in tests.

We are going to see the teacher to see if she can suggest any ideas to improve DD's Maths performance (e.g, things like Mathletics)

I have looked at all 3 on line and done searches here on Mumsnet but have ended up very confused!

We have another DD who is KS2 and doing very well with Maths. We are thinking of getting memberships of whichever online Maths aids we choose for this DD too as she finds Maths fun and we want her to continue to do well.

Mathletics is rubbish.

I’ve heard good things about Conquer Maths.

My dd uses Kahn Academy and also Mr Woo on YouTube.

Thanks Savoy. Mathletics was actually my favourite as it looked quite structured and colourful. Can you tell me anything else about why it's not so good?

I don't think YouTube would work for DD, I think she would get on better with something with feedback/scores/earning points/rewards type thing.

It's just so dull. It's clunky and old. There is an ipad app which has recently been updated but at my school half of the content is unusable as you need flash. There is no explanation as to why you've got something wrong. So most dc just guess if they don't know then move on.

But it's mainly the dullness I don't like.

Thanks Savoy. That's very helpful.
