Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can tell me their experience of Ellen Wilkinson school for girls and Brentside High school in Ealing.

My daughter has a place at Ellen Wilkinson but I've heard mixed feedback about this school and it is much further to travel to.
Brentside is much closer but really have no idea whether what it's like.

Any advice much appreciated! Thanks

I have friends with children at both schools and they both rave about them. Sorry - I’m not much help!

I know a very academic girl who loved Ellen Wilkinson. I also know someone whose daughter (clever but more diffident) was unhappy there. It doesn't seem a very sporty school. Despite the lovely playing fields.
Don't know anything about Brentside, except isn't it Ofsted Outstanding? I would go co-ed and local if there is the option.

Thanks for your responses, both schools are Ofsted rated Good.
I'm just not sure which one to go for!

I am thinking co-ed but lots of evidence girls do better in single sex schools.
