If location is not an issue then which would you choose for DS?

Definitely Highgate. Far more diverse intake, this not just based on the fact that it's coed. Great music and sports. Fantastic outreach programs, for example they have a school in Uganda and in Y11&12 the kids may visit and help teach there. I was impressed and I also have friends with children there and they all seem intelligent and well rounded.

Highgate. It's got a better reputation locally and has amazing grounds. And DH went there Grin

Most children in year 7 go on their own.

How far the kids come from ? A 45 min to 1 hour journey in tube ??
Just finding how he will feel coming far home everyday .. they learn soon though .. right ?

They do learn. I'm not sure if they have a school bus service. I know that children do travel quite a bit for other secondary schools. They get the hang of it.

Does anyone know if UCS also follows the exploding offers policy ? Highgate does..
