DS is doing higher tier French. Did ok in the mock but found it much harder than previous tests. Can anyone recommend and good You Tube videos which are basically just people speaking French to help him bump up his grade. Or any other top tips.

Has he tried the videos on Bitesize? There is also Français avec Pierre. Since he will know which topics he finds difficult he might like just googling for them.

He says the listening stuff on Bitesize is much easier than the stuff they had in their mock.

Is it worth just listening to as much "easy" stuff as possible in the hope that it will make the harder stuff easier.

Newsinslowfrench as a starter (don’t pay, the free stuff is enough). Make the most of Prime/Netflix/Walter Presents and watch everything. Lyricstraining.com is enjoyed by many and is good fun. Keep watching any music videos he likes on YouTube, Use pastpapers from all the exam boards for practise - mark and use transcripts to understand where he went wrong.
