Potential move to Buckingham - school problem!

So I know absolutely nothing about the area, but DH has recently suggested the move due to job opportunities and being near his elderly parent. We’ve looked at a few properties online and they all seem to be within a mile of Royal Latin School (which I’m aware is the grammar) and Buckingham School. Most are also apparently within the catchment of Silverstone UTC, Magdalen School, and Elizabeth Woodville.

A few issues though -
DDs would be starting in year 9 and 10. I’ve read the admissions policies of the above schools and all say admissions are based on space, which seems highly risky and I have honestly no idea at what point we’d approach them to ask about space.
While both girls are (very) bright, I’m not sure about the grammar education. We’re currently in South London and both got crazily high scores in the “Wandsworth Test” but we decided against Graveney because I didn’t think they’d cope with pressure (unlike their brother who thrives at Graveney). Surely a grammar school will only be more high pressure?

Right now mainly just looking for advice and info about the schools in the Buckingham area! Thanks.
