Shiplake College

Does anybody have a boy/girl that currently attends Shiplake, or one that has just left? My son has a place for September 2018 and I would love to hear your overall view of the school. Thank you!

DSS attended Shiplake from year 9 through 6th Form and has just gone into his second year at an RG uni.

It is a very nurturing place for all rounders. He ended up with a batch of A*s/As at gcses and good enough A levels to get into an RG albeit his insurance place. He was very active in CCF , rugby and hockey teams and as a chapel warden. He loved it there. He was a weekly boarder.

Did your SS find there were enough boarders?

It never seemed to be an issue!
