Bursary applications

Random question - given all the schools seem to want original paperwork how am I supposed to apply for more than one bursary at once??

Can you ask them to take a copy and return originals to you

Good idea but the applications are postal

It's very tedious but you have to make copies of all the original docs several times! In one case we had to supply copies of a years worth of bank statements! Library photocopier was a godsend but pricey for all those pages!

So you enclose a self addressed envelope and ask them to send the originals back.

We supplied copies to two schools and neither questioned the fact they were copies. You could always put a covering note explaining you've copied the originals and if you application is successful you'll be more than happy to forward the originals.

I didn’t send originals, just copies of originals. I did question it and they said copies were absolutely fine. I surreptitiously did all my photocopying at work thank god !
