Tiffin Girls School stage 1/stage 2 test

Just wondered if anyone has heard yet about whether they are through to stage 2? Thanks :)

Not a peep! I have to say I am not holding out very high hopes, though, so am able to cope with the suspense.

Same here :) I'm just itching to get my CAF sorted so the whole thing can be put to bed.

Someone posted on the elevenplusforum that they spoke to the school this afternoon and they hadn’t yet been posted...

We got our letter this morning, for anyone at work who is wondering if there will be a letter when they get home!

No news here. Do you think they are sending out the invitations to round 2 first and will send the rejections later? Or do you think they will send both letters at the same time?

I don't know. It could be alphabetical or anything really. We did get an invitation to stage 2, though.

What are your other options, hello, and how realistic are they? I am in a slight tizzy over what order to put things in.

To be honest I didn't think she's get through stage 1 and we haven't seen the school as we couldn't do the one open day! Not sure its the right school for
anyway! Looking at a mixture of private and state. I think I prefer the all girls comp near us so will prob put that at number 1! She should get a place there, subject to vicar's tick!

Luckily her SPAG appears to be better than her mother's....

The thing I liked most about the open day was all the wonderful music. DD v keen on this as she plays the violin and sings. I also thought the headmaster seemed really nice and down to earth. We are doing one private examination but otherwise hoping for Waldegrave.

Hiya - we are preparing for stage2 here too! Congrats on getting through stage1. Does anyone know if the weightage for English & maths is same or more for one than the other?

Absolutely no idea! We have done very little prep so any info much appreciated!
