That website that allows you to compare schools?

... I've been googling and can't find a way to get local schools, and then compare progress for the different attainment groups, as well as absolute outcomes. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Or if anyone knows anything about how Raynes Park High and Ricards Lodge, or the Harris Academy chain (I know the new one has no stats because it hasn't opened yet, but presumably the Mitcham and Merton ones do) deal with high attainers, that would also be really useful.

Before anyone tells me it's not all about stats, I know. But they are part of the picture, as well as visiting, chatting to local parents, Ofsted etc.

To add schools to your comparison list you use the 'search schools and colleges'. Then add them as they come up.

@Titsywoo Thanks! That's just what I needed - and very telling, one school clearly doesn't do three sciences or more than one MFL at GCSE, which wasn't obvious from their website.

Just wanted to say, they are putting this year's results up on Thursday- so wait a couple of days and you can see he most recent results.

Be aware that lots of schools that have results for triple science this year aren't going to be entering for three sciences in the new specs this year. So triple science results for 2017 don't necessarily mean they will be offering it by the time your child does GCSE.

You need to be a bit careful with science. There are two routes to triple science - one (most common) through the three individual sciences which you can see in the performance tables. - and the other through core, additional and further additional science which is not reflected in the performance tables. So a zero in the physics, chemistry, biology line doesn't necessarily mean they don't do triple - they could be doing core, additional and further additional.

Notaguru, Though of course the core / additional / further additional route is closed as from the current Y11, as it's not possible with the new GCSEs.

I would also agree with Dumbledore that many schools that did do triple aren't any more - and also that the A-level results of some schools that do double are equivalent to those from schools with similar intakes where many do triple ...

So if you are concerned about science, look at the A-level results. if they are good, and many pupils take Science A-levels, don't worry too much about whether they do GCSE double and then teach A-level from that basis, or triple and start A-level teaching there. From the data I looked at, it's definitely not the be all and end all of science education if a school chooses to do double award, but does it well.

True - but the point is that the performance tables don't tell you whether the school teaches triple science - the inference drawn by the OP may be wrong.
