I am hoping my twins will have received a place at Pates I will discover next Wednesday. If they don't but have scored high marks will they be offered a place at other Grammar schools?

Looking at their website, it seems it's an exam for that school only and not a group of schools? In that case, if a child doesn't make the mark, they don't get in. To be considered for other schools, the twins would need to have sat and passed those schools' exams.
