Hello,

dd got 56/80 on paper A, (8) and 47/80 on paper B(6), totalling 103.

The boundaries show she could still keep the overall six even if she went down to 37 on the B paper, if she gets a remark.
38 and above gives her a 7 (A).
dd is in a special school, under Camhs and took it a yr early, and doesn't want to do it again.

Just 104 marks would give her the 7!!, and she got 103.

That’s great news!

Always a worry that these papers aren’t marked properly in the first place.

Lovely news. I do wonder about AQA and borderline checks, which obviously weren't done. Students a mark or two from the next grade should always be reviewed.

No such thing as a borderline review.
