Good private secondary girls school with but not hard entry exams

Hello!

We are applying to several private schools that have many candidates per place, like City of London Girls, South Hampstead High School, Wimbledon High School, Guildford High School, Queen's Gate School.

But we need an escape option just in case we don't do very well in exams/interview.

Can you advice of couple of still good private schools, but with easier entry in central London or south-west area?

Many thanks...

Has it changed so much in two years that it no longer matters? Besides, the majority of the posts were only one year ago so perhaps still relevant? I’m only curious and thought I’d ask given the discussion already existed. I’m sorry if I’ve offended anyone.

SHS has a new head since the old post. It has also raised its academic expectations at entry level.

I’ve just realised I responded to a post from 2017 🙄 please ignore me!

Then you may also be aware that Francis Holland Sloane Square has taken a lease on the premises next door and has an extra 20 y7 places for this September.

Yes I had heard that. I still maintain it’s not an easy option though

Why don't you move very close to Camden School for Girls. Top results in the ciuntru , true London school and free of charge.

I would look at Queenswood School near Potters Bar in Hertfordshire. They are not very selective but it’s an easy commute from there or slightly East to get into the City. Lots of parents do it!
