Context - DC2 really struggles with school and is forecast v low grades. They're all starting GCSE/BTEC courses in yr9 to maximise time on the new curricula. Doing double combined science GCSE.

School have got a deal on the Tassomai online science revision/testing programme. Reading up about it, it does sound amazing... but I wonder how it suits very weak students? I see comments about boosting from B to A... but what about those who might only just scrape an E?

I''m well aware of the irony of my username in this context!

DS1 got a B in Biology iGCSE and a D in Chemistry iGCSE after using Tassomai for 6 weeks.

Without it, I think the Biology would have been a C and the Chemistry would have been an E or lower.

I wouldn't start it before Y11 though.
