Talk to the school - it's not uncommon for mfl departments to enter people for gcse's in different languages.

my school is a new secondary school, and while they have shown willing, they are not very forthcoming and still haven't done any GCSE's- think its up to me to get it sorted!
we'd like to get it out of the way- she is half Japanese , and has done lots of study (Saturday school)

DD wanted to do this. We had a tutor who taught her the syllabus then school entered her as aorivate candidate fir the exams. Difficult bit for us was finding someone who could do the speaking test but I'm guessing that won't be difficult for you to sort?
