I cannot help but wonder is this the tip of the iceberg?

Just another example of the privileged ruling class, shitting on the rest of us from a great height, without any remorse or sense of unjustice.

Bit harsh! Teachers supplementing their income by being examiners for a board. The 2 teachers who have lost their jobs and ruined their reputations, have demonstrated a lack of integrity and the CIE Pre U board has shown a complete lack of rigour in its checks and balances.

The rest of the staff, parents, pupils were probably as horrified as everyone else when they found out. Hopefully it will result in the exam boards tightening up their procedures so this cannot happen again, anywhere. It makes good clickbait that it's CIE which has been affected and that Pre U exams are mainly sat by a handful of private schools.

Pre Us will probably disappear now that A levels have become linear...they were devised as a way of avoiding AS/A2 exams and coursework, and the opportunity to retake (as I understand it).
