Grade boundaries - confused.com

Hello - I am a bit confused, I have my results sheet with the grades and scores. However I cannot see anywhere where the grade boundaries for each exam and exam board are. Are the boundaries all the same or different for each exam and board. I am curious to see how far away from the higher grade my DS was for each subject.

Also remarking - this was not mentioned at all by the school. Is it something that is requested by parents or by the school.

Each board has a pdf of their grade boundaries on their website. Not always easy to translate raw marks to ums and vice versa though. Some of dd's paperwork does not show a mark apart from grade and/or no breakdown by paper.

Yep, look on the exam board websites.

Remarks are normally requested by the school but are changing at the moment and it is very unlikely now to get a mark changed, with the use of online marking and constant checking of exam marking.

thanks. I looked online and it is clear now except for AQA which I cant understand at all.

Also the new 9 - 1 grades, my DS doesn't have a score just a grade.

Sorry for being dim.

Yes, AQA haven't made them public. Your school can access this info for you if you doubt the accuracy of the grade.
