My name is Gwyneth Harding, I am a fourth year (part-time) PhD student at Staffordshire University studying for a Doctorate in Education. I am currently collecting data for my research. My research is focused on communication with Eastern European migrant EAL parents of students who are currently in secondary education.
I am writing to ask whether there are any members of the mumsnet group who have children who attend secondary school (11 - 16 years of age), and who are from one of the following countries: Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia, and whohave been in the UK for no longer than 3 years and are new to the country, culture or language, and who would be willing to participate in my study?
Participation is via the completion of an online survey which is easy to complete and will take only a few minutes of your time.
