11+ mock tests for Bucks

Hello, we are thinking of moving to south Buckinghamshire but coming from a non grammar area I have no idea about 11+ tests. My kids are in Y6 and Y8 this coming Sept.

On the SB council website there is an info brochure that gives me some idea about the test - it looks like an IQ test. If I google 11+ tests for examples and mock tests I see completely different, and very hard, tests (like on the Dulwich College website) that doesn't seem to test iq/potential but knowledge.

Can anyone point me to some online mock tests that actually mimic what we can expect??

What sort of test would a mid-year admission for Y8 or Y9 have to do? Assumingly it won't be the same as the 11+ test?

If your children are in Y6 & Y8 then you have missed the 11+ . It is taken in the beginning of Y6 and you register at the end of Y5. There may be an option for sitting late but you will be considered as a late applicant as well.
