We are considering for DC who struggles in the mainstream secondary state school...too large, completely uninspiring with very poor pastoral support and social building activities within his year group.
King Alfred, St Chris in Letchworth and Northbridge House in Hampstead all seems to have similar ethos and structure, DC needs warm, small, nurturing environment where his individuality and talents being recognised and flourish. With teachers that can really inspire the kids and motivate them to do their best.
Does KA too liberal, with too much freedom? It looks lovely and will work geographically better than the other two..
Please share any stories, thoughts and experiences..must make a decision in the next few days.
Thanks
