Runaway from problems

To move area and start a new school to get away from bullies or to stay in the school. To stay or to go is the question going around and around in my head! Bullies and their parents who have it in for my child. Will we just be running from one into another?

I'd move if i were you.

I know you should in theory not allow bullies to push you out I think when it's a child I would move and have a fresh start. You only have one childhood and it's bloody hard to stand up to one bully let alone if there is a gang of them. The problem lies with them and not the bullied child, there is no reason to expect the problem to follow you.
Good luck whatever you decide

We didn't have bullies and their parents having it in for my child, but dd was quiet and some of the tougher, cooler kids were not that nice to her and they set the tone for the class and their parents were quite bitchy too. When dd moved up to a large high school, she was in a different class from the mean ones and it's been such an improvement! She's so much happier and has come out of her shell and made a nice group of friends and integrated with her class much better. It's nice to see her come home happy now. I recommend you move for a fresh start, especially as it sounds like you have it worse than dd did. I shudder when I remember the primary school kids.

How bad is it?
How long has it been going on?
How good are the school being in dealing with it?

You shouldn't have to move. It isn't fair.

But I would.

You shouldn't have to move.

But I've been there fighting a dead cause and my ds was destroyed in the process.

Moving ultimately turned out to be the best thing for my ds.
