best secondary schools

Good afternoon

We are relocating to cwmbran in september. Don't know where we are going to stay yet (thinking of marshfield). Can anyone please give me advise on schooling and what the best schools in the area is.

oo another thing we are coming from south africa (jip :-() we can not speak welsh

Marshfield is part of Newport which is a different town and different county borough to Cwmbran although near.

So in Cwmbran I would look at Croesyceiliog School and in Marshfield/Newport Bassaleg School.

Both schools have strong music departments with great choirs. That may not be important to you but it adds to school life
