Last exam for ds today, and done a first and last day at school photo.

DD has p2/p3 ... I'd say motivation has 100% evaporated. At the start of the exams she was all I'm aiming for full UMS in physics (she managed it in the mocks & her ISA) last night it was 'meh, I only need a B'. I wish we could personalise the timetable so we had the important ones (for her) near the beginning & finished up with French & geography or something!

Still, last day, freedom beckons. I have a bunch of kids due back here ... they are going to burn their blazers, drink cider & watch power rangers apparently

My poor niece doesn't finish until next Friday ... argh (her birthday too).

DD has OCR 21st Century physics - she's really tired and you can see it in her face. She still has three exams next week. Just seen someone taking a photo of two Year 11 boys up the road who've walked to school every day since Year 7 - things won't be the same again.

Ds has OCR Gateway Biology today - I'm here until Wednesday

I'm here until Friday too. Prom on the 7th. And then we can reconvene here on August 24th

Last exam today. Physics obviously. As others have said, motivation has evaporated. Huge bag of books to return after the exam. Great photo Dingit - I might get a slap if I try that . Even the blazer has been abandoned today. She is beyond caring.

Last exam here too. IGCSE physics. Greek yesterday until 10am and he slept the rest of the day. Planning on doing same again today. Never seen DS so exhausted. Good luck everyone and thanks for helping keep me sane over the last 5 weeks.

Last exam today too, also IGCSE Physics. Very little oomph left in him and even my nagging resources have dried up. Good luck to everyone's children, both those who finish today and especially those who have more exams next week.

Last day here too yaaaay! Motivation down to the ground, DS out to celebrate with friends after, not sure where, if he's burning his blazer I know he's been around Laniakea's

I've been lucky this time around with ds. dd3 is stressed with A Levels. and one of my older dd's was very stressed through exams but ds has been cool as a cucumber. Considering everything else that has happened this is very fortunate.

Only German GCSE went worse than expected. The weird Edexcel maths paper may have cost him a grade but that isn't the end of the world and it depends on grade boundaries.

So many of his friends are extremely stressed and tired. I think the system is crazy.

DS still has chemistry, History and Physics to go next week. He's doing biology right now and I'm waiting for him to come and give me a run down. He comes in, blurts it all out, eats and then crashes.

Most of his year group are meeting at the park for a celebration on Tuesday but he has physics on Wednesday (top 25% do triple) so is having a bit of a sulk about that!

Prom is on the 11th of July and then the long wait for results. I can't wait for it all to be over.

DS has nothing till Weds afternoon, and almost all his friends are finished.

Away for the weekend, then a single subject to cram (hasn't done too well in the other elements of this MFL, so ground needs to be made up)

from dd: P3 was really good (as good as C3), P2 was harder but not impossible. But it is done & she has done with GCSEs

AQA physics was good. History next week. Hope the DCs who have finished today have fun!

We were talking about cherry stones containing cyanide yesterday. Really interesting stuff they learn.

Edexcel Physics - OK, DS thinks he lost marks in the calculations of some answers (his Maths difficulties surfacing again) but on the whole is happy with how it went. DT this afternoon and we are done!
