hi all. we are soon moving from Northern Ireland to east glasgow/north lanarkshire depending on where there are good schools. DD will need admission inS5 as currently she is doing GCSEs and younger one will go to S3. any ideas ..suggestions about good schools in the area as we have never been there before.

St Andrew's is a brilliant school. You would need to be in catchment as it gets loads of placing requests from other areas.

Hi you might get more responses if you post this on Scotsnet?
Can't offer any advice personally but there are posters on Scotsnet who have lots of insight into schools and education in Scotland. Good luck!
