Hello! i'm new :-) I live in the Trafford area and was told that my eldest daughter did not make it into the school of her dreams: Alty Girls. We tried to get on the waiting list for a professional tutor in the area but could not be seen to at the time and she did some preparation but needed the tutor to really help her. She is now twelve years old and in year seven and I have put her in for the 13 plus exams for Alty girls. She is confident in Maths/Science/English and scores the best in her year but she is nervous about the French exam. Why is French needed for 13 plus? I have realised all too late that she really needs a tutor for French. Does anyone know where I could get French preparation questions tailored to the year 7 and 8 curriculum? I have looked everywhere and can't find a thing. Thanks for your help. Plus she is not happy at her current school hence why we have tried again to get her into the school of her dreams.
