Where to send a child in London with Dyslexia

I'm looking for private or state secondary options for a son with Dyslexia in London. My oldest goes to Highgate school so we could
go anywhere from there. We've looked at St Christopher's but I'm concerned about the journey. I just don't want my child separated
because he has dyslexia. Can't afford Crested schools.

Is he very dyslexic and needs specialist provision or just good classroom support. How clever is he.?

He's not an academic in the classic sense but he is very creative.

Excellent at art, design and poetry. Needs a reader at the moment.
Not sure how its going to play out yet but I think he's going to need good support.

Is Thames Christian college too far?

No it isn't. Do you have to be religious?

One option is Fairley House - very expensive, but the idea is that their interventions (for a year or two) equip their pupils for re-integration to the mainstream, and I understand they get very good results.

Fairley House or maybe Dwight? My DS's friend did really well at Dwight (N12) and is now at an RG uni. He is severely dyslexic. You could consider The Academy for 2 years and go for Common Entrance. Their dyslexia support person is fab. Taught my DD when she was first diagnosed. Have you spoken to Highgate already? They are pretty good about siblings and I've known some SpLD DCs who have done well there.

Thank you for all the suggestions. Fairley house is wonderful but way out my league for cost. I'm trying to not move him around too much.
I wish I'd known about The Academy a few years ago. I'm going to look at Dwight and Thames Christian. We need more places for these amazing kids.

We've been recommended the Moat School in Fulham but I don't know much about it x
