Transport from Ickenham to RGS

Hello all,
We are going to move to Ickenham soon and my DS has got into RGSHW and will be starting Year 9 this September. Could anybody please suggest how he would be able to travel from Ichenham to RGSHW or know any other boys who already commute from Ickenham to HW? Thanks

That's a trek!
Any bus route will take well over an hour in the traffic you'll hit - the Handy Cross roundabout at the top of the town can be diabolical in the morning.
Your best bet will probably be train from West Ruislip then walk up the hill.
