What's the demographic of staff in your dc's secondary school?

Just back from parents evening and it really struck me how many male teachers there are in ds's school. He has 8 male and 3 female teachers. The vast majority of teachers across the school are in their 20s with just a few in their 30s. I would say a handful in the entire school are 40+. This is a school of about 1000 pupils (no idea how many staff but just to give you an idea)
Just interested how this compares with others, for no reason other than I'm just interested

I just had a quick tally. About 50/50 men/ women.
Biggest group in teaching staff are 50+ age ( about 70 %) The rest is made up of people aged 30s or 40s mainly. There are 2 teachers still in their 20s that I can think of.

More male teachers than female (about 70:30) - boys school.
About 50% look to be 40+
Ethnically quite diverse

A small school (less than roughly 800 pupils) and the teachers are mostly over 30 if not over 40s /50s.

More women teachers I think, maybe 70%. All white though, looking around parents evening, maybe one non-white going by her surname.

Which is in stark contrast to the pupil demographics, which is mainly Asian I think.

About 50-50 male/female.
Mainly white British apart from MFL which includes some native European speakers.

Lack of ethnic diversity reflects the general community.

Age, not so sure, reasonably well spread. Certainly not only in 20s and 30s. Some teachers taught pupils' parents too.

School of 1400, mixed comp, west London.

About 50/50 with a fair number under 30 but then an equally fair number who are middle aged with teenage or more grown up kids so they actually understand parenting - unlike ds's primary school where not one single teacher except the head had any children (and his were all preschool) and they had no idea about parenting beyond the blinkered view of their rose-tinted specs.

The secondary school staff are also very ethnically diverse which reflects the school's pupil demographic.

Mixed comp. A real range of ages. 20s - 50s. Definitely not all young. Most senior management are male. A lot of teachers i think have been at the school for years. Slightly more female teachers in the school but more of them are PT.

More heads of house are female than male.

I've been to a few Parents Evenings and at our school:

The Head is male
All Head of Years are female
All office staff are female
Maths is dominated by females in their 30s
English is dominated by men 20-40
Languages are dominated by females in their 40s
Science is dominated by women 20-40
History/geography is dominated by men
Computing is dominated by women in their 40s
Art/Dt is dominated by men in their 50s
PE is 50/50

Teacher here! My school is very small and is in France. 75/25 split female/male I think. Ages range from 25-60-something and very ready for retirement...For the most part we are in our mid-thirties/early 40s. 80% white European with a few of north African origin...it isn't a particularly diverse area...

Smallish rural secondary - around 600 pupils. Probably 50:50 male / female? A real spread of ages from 20s through to 50s/60s too. I'm impressed by how enthusiastic many of the older teachers remain :)

Doesn't seem from my experience to date (dd in yr 10) to be a massive turnover of staff, plus I don't know the %ge but a pretty substantial number I think went to the school themselves.
