Boy clothes for Prom party

Anyone has already bought clothes for Prom party? What do boys normally wear and where to buy it from? Thanks!

My boys and friends all wore black tie.

Just bought my DS a suit from Next, with the prom not until July. He and his mates have decided they are then all wearing the same colour tie in memory of their mates mum who passed away a couple of weeks ago

Black tie would have been great for us - dinner suit a common form of concert dress, one that DS needs. Sadly it's a 'normal suits' prom, hence getting a black suit that with the addition of a white shirt and black bow tie CAN look like a dinner suit in amongst the orchestra!

Yes lots of our lads friends were musicians and had black tie - suspect that was reason it was chosen.

M&S do a Super Slim fit suit which is often washable for about £99. Good for 6th form if they still fit it. Also seem to be lots available on ebay...
