Anyone have kids doing A Levels at the moment and finding it hard to talk to them about it all?

Does anyone have children taking their A Levels who isn't sure how hands on to be and not sure how to ask about their studies/ revisiion? Or what to do if they're struggling?

I have a dd doing A-levels who is - to say the least - very touchy about anything I ask her, or any support I offer.
She has struggles with A levels, tbh, after years of sailing through school doing well without actually having to stretch herself / do any work

I've got one but just leave him to it. I don't see what I can do which would be of much help.
