When does your child's primary find out about secondaries?

Just that really. DH claims he read somewhere that the primary school gets the results a week before they are released to parents. Is that right? I am just being nosey...

In our LEA they state that lists are sent to schools in the week before offer day. But suppose that means it could be any time and that week right up to the day before.
