Help! Year 9 report/learning profile

MummyWilliams · 05/02/2017 16:08

My son has received his 2nd learning profile for this academic year.

Instead of levels i.e 4a, 5b, 6a etc. It says things like 'working towards national expectations' and 'above national expectations'.

I've tried googling this, but nothing is clear to me.

Can anyone explain what this means please?

Your child's school will be able to clarify and they should actually send an explanatory page with the Report. Our DC's has a small print at the bottom of the page explaining the criteria. Schools are free to set own criteria after assessing academic performance; therefore Google won't help you I'm afraid.
