Therfield (and other secondary schools) in Leatherhead

My sister is thinking of moving to Leatherhead - looking at secondary schools for her DD - would be grateful for any feedback on your personal experience with Therfield (or the other secondary schools too). I believe Therfield has fairly close ties with The Ashcombe in Dorking?

I know someone with a DC at Therfield and they are really pleased with it. A newish Head, who seems to be doing great things. I think they are in a multi-academy trust with the Ashcombe, so that is probably a good thing as well. No personal experience of it though.

Locally it is considered less desirable than Howard of Effingham, but entrance to the Howard is difficult if you don't go to a designated feeder primary and/or live in a quite limited area.
