What to wear for 13+ interviews (obv not that important)

What do boys normally wear for a 13+ interview? My son won't be going to school on the day of his interview so it seems a bit odd to put him in school uniform. Obviously not the most important thing in the world but I'm keen for him to feel as relaxed as possible, which he might not be if he's dressed differently from the other candidates.

Thank you.

If it's a school day uniform is the norm unless otherwise specified.

School uniform or smart casual. Our DC all wore smart casual as no school uniform in their international schools. This made them stand out a bit but they did not care. School will not care about what they wear - it's just a question of making your DC feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

There is usually quite a mixture, ranging from high falutin' bizarre posh school uniforms to pretty casual, so I don't think he will stand out particularly whatever he wears.

I would say he should wear the smartest kit that he feels comfortable in.

My DS wore his school uniform for both of his but then we did take him back to school afterwards. If he wasn't going back to school I think I would have dressed I him in smart causal clothes (chinos, shirt with collar but no tie, shoes).

My son didn't go to school the day of his interview but they specified school uniform. Everyone had uniform on. Quite handy to assess where the others had come from. 🙄
