Has anyone heard of a mainstream independent school allowing the use of a reader or scribe in their 11+ exams for a dyslexic pupil for whom this as a recommendation in their EP report?

You need to ask their admissions people but I don't see why not. One famous school was brilliant about the 13+...

My dd had extra time in her mainstream independent school exams, she was also allowed to sit it in a quiet area.
All schools should make reasonable adjustments.

If they can't/won't t it probably isn't the best school for her.
