Mums ... help ... I can't seem to find a Co-Ed independent senior school in Herts/Bucks/North East Berks. Are there any at all? I love Haileybury but it's a bit too far to the East. And Berkhamsted is diamond and we wanted fully co-ed. Any recommendations at all? Thanks all.

Aldenham, Shiplake and Stowe are the only others in that general area. Co-ed is rather thin on the ground round here!!!!!

Bishops Stortford College is Co-ed.

Thanks both. Any experience of those schools at all?

A lot of the children, especially the boys, go to Aldenham from my children's prep. It is generally well thought of, although often seen as a backup for Merchant Taylor's and Habs Boys.

No other experiences I'm afraid.

Shiplake is only co-ed in the 6th form, boys only from year 7-11.

St Chris Letchworth. St Edmunds Ware, Sheradswood near Wellyn Garden City. Mill Hill if you are South Herts

No, no personal experience as Stortford has some fantastic state schools that get better results at GCSE but it has absolutely fantastic grounds and facilities (including the best pool in the area). Seams to have a wide range of nationalities and is reasonable diverse. Fees are high though.
