Are IGCSEs changing as well as GCSEs????

It does feel a right old muddle... but am I right in thinking that IGCSEs will continue to be A* to E or whatever, while GCSEs change to 9 to 1? How utterly bizarre... and confusing for all if so....

That was the plan, but they are now changing to 1 to 9 if sat in the uk

They're changing here in the UK but a year later.

Apparently there was concern that by not changing, pupils would be at a disadvantage as they couldn't get a "9".

However the iGCSEs seem to continue to offer coursework options for subjects such as English whereas they seem to have vanished except for obviously practical subjects.
