Hi all. I'm after a link to the BBC 10pm news article that discussed the GCSE results and specifically the bit that discussed the Maths results & the resist that would be required if DC got a Grade 'D'. Can anyone help?

Was it regarding the fact that the GCSE has changed and any re sits would be under the new specification?

have you tried searching youtube?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 29/08/2016 19:27

is it the one embedded in this BBC page here?

every Resits will be available in the old specification in Nov 2016 and June 2017.

Students who get a D have to resit GCSE, those who get an E or below can resit GCSE or can take an approved qualification like functional skills.

Thanks, everytimeref, but I haven't been able to find the news article that was broadcast at that link.

The battle I have is trying to explain to DC the consequences of not picking up the pace NOW rather than drifting through school

Here's the government document saying which DC have to resit, if that's any use?
