DS applied to two sixth form colleges. The one that he prefers made him an offer, but not for the subjects he wanted - they offered single maths and not double maths, which was what he applied for, but said that he could discuss moving to the double maths at enrolment as a "course change". Have just been to enrolment with him and they say they that they usually accommodate most requests but will not be able to let him know until the 9th.
Second choice sixth form offered him what he wanted, but he needs to enrol there next week, and first day of term is the 8th.
What to do? He'd rather do the double maths even if it means the second choice sixth form, but would very much prefer the first choice one. If he enrols at both, will anyone know? Are we breaking any laws? (ie would the sixth forms both claim funding for him)? I think he'd find it really hard going through the first day of term meeting all his new classmates though and knowing he was probably about to leave. Arrhhhhhh
