Hi there.
We are considering a move to Ewhurst / Cranleigh.
Can any advise on which secondary school children from this area most likely go too and what sort of reputations each school has?

Many thanks

The state secondary for that area is Gleblands, in Cranleigh. Seems to be okay. Unless you are Catholic then you might get into St Peter's and there is a bus.
For Sixth Form most go to Godalming and again there are buses.

Thank you mummy time!
Not Catholic so not sure as stabs much of a chance with St.Peters...I'm a bit concerned that only 65% of children got the 5 GCSEs at Glebelands do you have any idea why at all?
Any word on the street it's improving?

The d of e table I saw said 70% including Maths and English. It does have a low English baccalaureate percentage.
All schools seem to be getting much harder to get into, in the local area.
I think Glebelands used to tend to not be "full", but I believe that is no longer the case.

Go look at the schools and get a feel for whether they would suit your dc. You can't tell from Ofsted reports.
