Does anyone know any good resources for Spanish GCSE -AQA? Ds has just finished year 10, and his pretty blameless record has been tarnished by his Spanish. Largely because he used to find it easy, and didn't notice that it had got more difficult til too late! I want something he can do over the summer to get up to speed again. Any ideas?

I took my Spanish GCSE recently; Conjuguemos website was really helpful, as I didn't have a teacher.

Other links (the one above is for conjugating verbs):
Vocabulary by theme
Grammar
Listening - these Listening activities are not standard GCSE exercises but useful. I'd say they're a bit more difficult than the GCSE ones.

Our MFL teachers at school recommend Conjuguemos and Languages Online.

There's also a free app called DuoLingo which is useful for revision.

You can find past papers and sample papers to practise on the exam. board's website too.

DD used BBC bitesize listening, and also Malvern Study guides for vocab lists.

Place marking as this would be very useful for my year 10 ds.

Use Quizlet for vocabulary - there are lots of teachers who have put in the full spec. He really needs to be very clear on what words mean for the exam.

Is it the exam or the controlled assessments that are causing problems?
