School years in Scotland

I've been looking at education in Scotland and can't quite work out the equivalents for my children who are winter born. Can anyone help?

I have one born in February 2004 (currently end of Year 7 in England) and one born in January 2007 (currently end of Year 4). What years would they be going into in Scotland in August?

February 2004 would be going into S2 after the summer as one of the very youngest as the year runs 1st March 2003 - 28th Feb 2004.

January 2007 would be going into P6 again as one of the youngest.

Remember that often in Scotland the Jan/Feb children are deferred so would be in the year below, this might be something you could do with children joining the school depending on their individual circumstances.

Thanks Luna. That's helpful to know.
