Hi everyone, I am hoping for some advice (and handholding) as we prepare to send our DD off to boarding school in September. We are returning to the UK and she will be going off to school quite soon afterwards so lots going on with lots of changes to the family.
I am hoping that some of the more seasoned boarding mums can give some advice on things like pocket money, contact expectations, useful things to take as well as things you've done to help both your DC and your family cope with the initial 'shock' and then the changes that will inevitably occur within the family. I know every family is different but I am particularly worried about the impact on her DB.
I might be overthinking, feel free to tell me so :-)
