Stage 1 and stage 2 school appeal to be held on one day

Is this right? Group stage one appeal at 9am then individual stage 2 appeals throughout the same day.

It doesn't give much time to respond/research the case that the school presents at stage 1?

I've requested additional information from the school back in March but still haven't received anything.

It's quite normal. You don't usually have time away from the hearing to respond or research the case presented at stage 1, because the case is sent to you before the hearing in the bundle of documents. Nothing should come as a surprise. Equally, anything you would want to rely on in stage 1 should be sent into the appeal office ahead of the hearing.

Ah ok - that's reassuring that they should send information prior to the date. The notification letter didn't make reference to this.
