Please help! Bancrofts School vicinity.

I know I should've posted it in Mumsnetlocal, but the latest post is dated 2015...

Really want to hear your opinions on schools, housing, etc.

I intend to move into Woodford but am really unfamiliar with the surroundings. I would prefer living near Woodford as there are many good private schools including the fabulous Bancrofts. But I've heard that South Woodford is nicer and the house price lower?

There are good and bad bits of both Woodford and South Woodford. Woodford has less of a centre and is more of a sprawl. Both are commutable to Bancrofts and the other indies. Wanstead, Buckhurst Hill, Loughton are nicer and on Central Line. There are 3 very good indies (Bancrofts, Chigwell, Forest) in the vicinity and more if you go further into London or North of London.
