Help - AS Chemistry

BlueBelle123 · 13/05/2016 11:59

DD will shortly be sitting her AS chemistry exams, but despite her hard work she is still getting U's. Her methods of revision have been mind maps, flash cards and past papers(although new syllabus so only specimen papers) She says there is so much to learn and can't seem to get it to stick in her head - Any constructive ideas would be gratefully appreciated!Smile

Mind maps and flash cards are fine.
Try not to take too much notice of the current grades, no-one can be sure where the new grade boundaries will actually be, so teachers could be marking too harshly.
Most of the old papers will still be relevant for your dd ( just ignore anything she hasn't covered). For one topic (equilibrium) she will need to look at old A2 papers.
Hope that helps
