Norwich school

We're thinking of relocating to Norfolk and love the look of The Norwich School. Does everyone who attends live in Norwich or do children travel in from the surrounding villages?

Many come in from up to 25 to 30 miles away. But look careful at transport links in a very rural county unless you are prepared to drive in very mixed conditions... However, the railway station is nearby and there are pleasant towns that still have regular trains to Norwich - and some villages that are 'sort of' on the train lines. Buses from the larger towns (well, it's a relative term) also descend on Norwich at times convenient for school. Little in the way of designated buses, though.

I have friends with DC there. They lived around 20/30 mins drive away, but eventually moved to Norwich because the school run was just too much (lovely village, but school in one direction, friends and clubs in another etc). Spent hours in the car.

Thank you for your replies - much appreciated. Lots to think about - there are so many lovely villages.

I would suggest you ring or email the school as often there are parents who organise a taxi from villages or who car share.
It's a fab school and Norwich is a beautiful city, as is Norfolk
