Rugby School - day v boarder

Hi, thinking of Rugby School for my year 9 son. He would be a day pupil and I'm just concerned about the day v boarder pupil ratios. Obviously it's a primarily boarding school so I'm just concerned about him making friends in such a small pool. Rugby appeals to me because it's co-ed. Anyone else had good or bad experiences at the school they could share? Thank you!

I wouldn't worry. It is predominantly boarding, my son is there as a boarder but there seems to be little real issue between boarders and town boys. He has friends from both. It's full on of course; activities across weekends and exeats etc but it all works out. I wouldn't worry at all.
