Does anyone have up to date info about this school , direct experience would be really useful.
Is an independently minded child with very good academic potential going to be the odd one out here can they still do well and go on to top universities or do they concentrate more on children that need help ?

Have PM'd you and I hope I can be of assistance. In summary I would unreservedly recommend this school and believe your reservations, whilst understandable, are unfoundered.

Children of all abilities go to Clayesmore, so no, your child won't be the odd one out. My children go to this school (one still at the prep school) and neither of them have special 'learning needs'. My eldest is very academic and my second child is above the national average in all academic subjects. I feel that they are both being extended and challenged in their learning. More importantly, they both love this school and enjoy being there!

Hi we are thinking of moving south and are looking for schools. We have a very dyslexic boy 10 years old who needs lots of help and a bright 8year old who is academically good both love sports. We are thinking of looking at clayesmore school because of the learning support. Can anyone tell me anymore about clayesmore and is it sutable for all children? Are there any other schools we should be looking at? Does midfield have good learning support? Any advice would be great. Thank you
