Good evening, my son has an offer from this school and another offer from an independent school . He is happy with both, I would like to know what do you think of this new free school please ?

We have two boys, the youngest of which was one of the first intake at MBS in 2014, and he is very happy there, as are we. It's an ambitious school academically and once they move to their dedicated building in Paddington, it'll be a fantastic facility. However, it is a central London, non-selective comprehensive, so class sizes and resources can't compete with the independent sector. Having said that, our eldest is at an independent and we would move him to MBS in a heartbeat, if we could. Not all indi's are equal and every child is different, so same may not apply to you. Rgds, James

sani1, what have you decided in the end regarding MBS?

Emilyscribe · 04/10/2016 11:57

Son in Yr 9 at MBS and really happy with the school. Excellent, supportive leadership, high expectations for learning, great pastoral care. Boys treated as individuals.
