Do/Did your dcs do that? She has a lot of friends and seems happy enough everyday. Is it a normal teenager thing?

My 13 yr old DS likes PE, and that's it. He also seems happy enough, though does not have many friends ( never has, is happy without ). Admits occasionally to geography being ok. It does worry me, he has so little motivation to do well.

My dd keeps saying she doesn't want to go to uni but just wants to go to FE then get a job to earn money. I just dont know uni or not uni any more!

DS16 still only likes P.E. He tolerates French, Maths English and Geography. He can't wait to leave, wants an apprenticeship.
DD14 likes every subject except French and deliberated for hours over her options choices.

My DD is now in Year 10 so has chosen her options, thus dropping subjects she's less interested in. On occasions she says it's her best year yet, she's enjoying subjects (so doesn't have a problem with them and friendships are going well, but every time I ask her how her day went she says "boring". It might be that it feels tedious having to sit in a room day in day out trying to learn.

Hi tiger, my dd also says every subject s boring. At least she getting on with all the homework.

Year 7 DS hates everything except science :)

My year 8 ds likes history because of the teacher, and Spanish. He tolerates or dislikes the rest.

My y8 dd likes music and art so two lessons out of forty each week. Her friends similarly like only a few lessons as well so I think it's normal.
